Badgers welcome Maryand to Camp Randall with blowout

In their first-ever game at Camp Randall Stadium, the Wisconsin Badgers defeated the Maryland Terrapins 52-7 Saturday afternoon.

Junior running back Melvin Gordon scored three touchdowns, gaining 122 yards on 22 carries. It is the third game this season the Kenosha native has rushed for at least three touchdowns.

Quarterbacks Joel Stave and Tanner McEvoy scored three touchdowns total, including McEvoy's 60-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

The Badgers defense held the Terrapins to 175 total yards.

With the win, Wisconsin improves to 5-2, 2-1 in the Big Ten.
