Badgers rally from 10 down to win Big Ten Tournament title

Wisconsin rallied from an 10-point deficit in the final six minutes of the Big Ten Tournament championship game, forcing overtime before putting away Michigan State 80-69.

Nigel Hayes scored 25 points, including a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line. Frank Kaminsky added 19 points, Bronson Koenig 18 as Wisconsin won the conference tournament for the first time since 2008.

After looking slugging for much of the game, the Badgers (31-3) came alive in the final minutes, and the overtime period wasn't a contest, with Wisconsin outscoring Michigan State 11-0.

Wisconsin's next stop is the NCAA Tournament. The team went to the locker room after celebrating the Big Ten Tournament title to receive their assignment for the first round of the NCAA.
