Badgers pound Purdue 34-16

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana--The Wisconsin Badgers beat the Purdue Boilermakers 38-16 Saturday afternoon at Ross-Ade Stadium.


Badgers junior running back Melvin Gordon rushed for 205 yards--the third time this season he has rushed for at least 200 yards. Along with his rushing touchdown, quarterback Joel Stave threw one of his two touchdown passes to Gordon.


Tanner McEvoy rushed for the other touchdown.


Wisconsin, now 4-1 in the West Division of the Big Ten, are tied for first place with Minnesota and Nebraska, whom they host Saturday, November 15th.
