Badgers football game vs. Purdue canceled
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Badgers announced Tuesday, Nov. 3, their game against Purdue set for Saturday, Nov. 7, has been canceled.
According to a tweet from Wisconsin Football, all activities remain paused with a total of 27 active COVID-19 cases since Oct. 24.

“We have seen a level of improvement in our testing numbers, but not enough to give us confidence to resume normal activities and play our game on Saturday.”
The Badgers have 27 active cases (5 since Saturday).
This marks the second straight week that Wisconsin has canceled a football game due to the virus outbreak. The Badgers had been scheduled to visit Nebraska on Oct. 31. Neither game will be rescheduled.
