The City of Milwaukee wants to make sure kids are healthy as they head back to school.
North Division High School hosted a health fair today. Kids could get everything from a lead level test to a haircut.
Mayor Barrett said a student's health has a direct correlation with their academic performance.
"The more children we reach, the better their attendance is going to be in school, the better their health outcomes will be and the healthier it's going to be for everyone. It's a great way to start off the school year," the mayor said.
If you missed today's health fair, there's another one planned next Friday, August 11th, at Hayes Bilingual School on the south side from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m.
