MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We are now getting our first look at one of the new animals at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
The zoo's red panda cub made her debut to the public on Wednesday morning.
The cub is named Doctor Lily Parkinson after one of the zoo's veterinarians.
She was the first to discover the cub through an ultrasound on the mother.
"Out here she looks like one of those wooly caterpillars moving. She doesn't have all of her footsteps but she's doing pretty well and she's growing fast," said Ryn Taylor, a Zookeeper at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Doctor Lily is on exhibit right now with her mom and dad. The zoo says if you want to see her, she's more active in the mornings.
Lily is the first red panda cub born at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
