Autopsy to be performed on former Milwaukee Wave player found in Oconomowoc Lake

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- An autopsy is expected to be performed Monday on the body of former Milwaukee Wave player Brett Wiesner.

Wiesner, 31, disappeared while swimming in Oconomowoc Lake early Saturday morning.

Investigators say a 911 call came in around 4:40 a.m. from a group of friends that had been on a pontoon.

Two men, including Wiesner, had jumped into the lake for a swim, but only one of the men came back.

The group tried finding Wiesner on its own for about 20 minutes before calling 911.

Several hours later, his body was recovered from the water.

Police aren't able to say yet if alcohol or drugs are to blame, and the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy Monday.

CBS 58's Matt Doyle has more.
