Update: Authorities take suspect into custody for warrant, drug charges

OOSTBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says a suspect has been taken into custody for a warrant and drug charges.

Authorities initially reported a high-speed chase, but upon further inspection, officials say there was not a pursuit in Ozaukee County.

They say a vehicle did leave a traffic stop, but deputies did not pursue. The vehicle was located parked in the town of Holland,

OOSTBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office says it believes a man who fled from authorities is hiding in the Oostburg area Monday morning.

The sheriff's office says the Green Bay man led authorities on a high-speed chase and later ditched the car he was driving in the Oostburg area. 

Authorities have been searching for the man since around 2:30 a.m. They believe he has knocked on several doors and kicked in a garage.

He is described as standing 6'4" with black hair and weighing around 220 pounds. He was last wearing a red and blue sweatshirt and blue jeans.
