Attempted Armed Robbery in Deerfield

Dane County authorities need your help finding a man who they say tried to rob a gas station.
He was wearing a dark green sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head.
He was also wearing a dark ski mask.
Police say they got a call for an attempted robbery at a BP gas station around 8 Wednesday night.
That gas station is in the village of Deerfield.
Witnesses say a man walked in carrying a hatchet, demanding money.
The store clerk refused to give him money and the suspect ran off.
