Atlanta Bar Under Fire for Hosting Packers Pep Rally
The Packers host pep rallies before a majority of their away games in cities across the country and this Sunday's NFC Championship game in Atlanta is no different. The Packers announced that they were hosting a pep rally in Atlanta on Saturday at Park Tavern, but Falcons fans and citizens of Atlanta are not having any of it.
The criticism got so bad that the bar, Park Tavern, posted an explanation and apology on their Facebook Page. The post said that they will always be Falcons fans, "we are and have always been Falcons fans and are rooting for them to make it to the Super Bowl, (AND WIN!)."

Even with the apology, Park Tavern did not cancel the event. One Facebook User commented on the apology post and said, "You guys could see how much you've pissed off your core base of customers and cancel the pep rally to truly show you realize your mistake."
Some other fans were more supportive of the bar writing, "I have absolutely zero problem with you guys hosting this. If it wasn't there, it would be somewhere else. And I'm a lifelong Atlantan. Everything will be fine."
Back when the Packers played the Falcons in October the team held the rally at the Hard Rock. In that game the Falcons won in a shootout 33-32.
