MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tonight, Oct. 29, the Milwaukee Bucks and Gruber Law Offices hosted a Special Olympics Wisconsin athlete clinic at the Froedert and Medical College of Wisconsin Sports Science Center in the Deer District.
Around 60 athletes participated in the clinic.
The athletes spent the day shooting hoops and got some pointers from Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers. They tell us it's a lot of fun to get opportunities like this so they can step up their game.
"I'm learning confidence in my teammates and practicing with my teammates and passing and all the basic skills," said Oconomowoc resident Caitlyn Marks. "But also coming together as a team and performing as a team."
The athletes also got to play with Bucks forward Bobby Portis.
He tells us he had a blast seeing everyone show lots of enthusiasm for basketball.
