At least 6,000 without power in Burlington due to flooded substation

About 6,000 people are without power in the Burlington area due to a flooded substation, We Energies says.

We Energies says they are trying to take power from another nearby substation in order to get some of these customers back in service, but are unaware of how long that could take.

Burlington was one of the hardest hit areas during the heavy rains Tuesday and Wednesday. More rain could come to the area Wednesday night.
