Ascension Wisconsin to expand care in Shorewood community

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Ascension Wisconsin is expanding its primary care and women’s health services through a new clinic that will be built in Shorewood.

According to the company, the 15,000 sq. ft. clinic on Oakland Avenue will provide lab, x-ray and ultrasound services. The four full-time primary care providers at the existing Shorewood clinic near Capitol Dr. and Cramer St. will transition to the new location.

Construction is expected to begin by the end of the year. The clinic is scheduled to open in summer 2019.

Ascension Wisconsin says the new clinic is a $7.8 million investment.
