MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Local artists will open their doors this weekend for the sixth annual MKE Studio Tour, showcasing the work of approximately 50 artists across 18 locations.
The self-guided tour, organized by Wisconsin Craft, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Jean Wells, a potter and co-founder of the MKE Studio Tour, joined us to preview the event on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
The tour spans several neighborhoods, including River Hills, Shorewood, Milwaukee and Bay View. Attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase unique handcrafted art, including ceramics, jewelry and woodworking directly from the artists’ studios.
The event is free and open to the public. Additional information can be found by clicking here.
