MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A group of Milwaukee artists was hard at work Thursday, creating a mural in memory of George Floyd.
They worked on the wall of a vacant building near Holton and North Avenue.
The owner donated the space.
"We will hope that this shows that we can evolve as a human race," said artist Dominique Whitehurst.
If you go past you'll see the image of George Floyd with a flower, and the letters BLM for Black Lives Matter.
