MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Friends of the Domes will host its annual Art in the Green festival at the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, featuring a wide range of artwork by local and regional artists.
Kathy Kortes, Advancement Director for Friends of the Domes was joined by a local artist, Burt Gross, in joining us on Thursday, April 18 to preview the event.
Set within the unique greenhouse environment of The Domes, Art in the Green will include jewelry, ceramics, woodwork and paintings available for purchase on Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The festival offers live music and local food and drink options. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids aged 3-12, and free for children under 2 and Friends of the Domes members.
Proceeds will support the conservation efforts for The Domes.
