Arrests made after gunfight near 8th and Somers leaves 2 injured
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A gunfight early Tuesday, Oct. 28 has reportedly left two people with non-fatal injuries near the area of 8th and Somers streets.
According to Milwaukee police, two people were involved in an argument at around 3:20 a.m. when both contacted other individuals who became involved in a gunfight. A 36-year-old and a 35-year-old were both struck by gunfire.
Officers saw a vehicle leave the area and stopped it. The 36-year-old was inside and was taken to a hospital for treatment, police say.
A firearm was recovered and two other occupants of the vehicle, a 48-year-old man and a 51-year-old man, were arrested.
The 35-year-old arrived at a hospital for treatment and was arrested.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. The investigation is ongoing.
