MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Around 30 people were displaced after a fire broke out in an apartment building in Milwaukee Wednesday night.
Authorities say it happened near 39th and Hopkins.
Firefighters say the fire was located on the first floor of the building. Crews initially were told several people were trapped inside, but after searching the building, one person was found inside and was able to walk out without assistance.
Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
