Armed subject causes temporary lockdown at MATC

MILWAUKEE -- MATC's downtown campus was placed on lockdown after public safety officers received reports of an armed subject on campus.
MATC says the subject was seen outside of Building C, located at the intersection of 8th and Highland.
Initial reports of the armed subject came in to public safety around 9:48 a.m. Milwaukee police searched the building while the campus was on lockdown. Police gave the all clear around 12:30 p.m.
