MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating an armed robbery that happened near Bartlett Avenue and Hampshire Street on Thursday night, May 11. 

Police say armed suspects approached a victim around 11:05 p.m., demanded and obtained property. 

The suspects fled the scene but police say one -- identified as a 15-year-old boy -- was later arrested by Shorewood police and transferred to Milwaukee police. 

A gun was recovered during his arrest.

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
