17-year-old shot while running away from robber near 46th and Hadley
An armed robbery in the broad daylight resulted in the victim being shot as he was trying to get away from the robber. According to the Milwaukee Police, the incident happened around 4:45 PM Sunday at N 46th and W Hadley Streets.
A 17-year-old male was held up at gunpoint on the street.
As he attempted to run away from the robber, he was shot in the foot.
In an unrelated incident, a 43-year-old man was shot in the leg while driving in the area of N. 19th Street and W Vienna Avenue Sunday night.
According to the Milwaukee Police, the man said that around 9:40 PM he was driving through the area and heard gunshots.
His vehicle was struck and he was wounded in the left leg.
MPD is continuing to investigate both shootings and search for suspects and motives.
