Armed Carjacking Occurs on North Prospect Avenue

A suspect approached a 25-year-old Milwaukee woman and demanded her car at gunpoint at the 2500 block of North Prospect Avenue around 9:55 p.m. on December 6. 

The suspect then took the victim’s car, a 2014 Toyota Camry, and fled from the scene. 

District Five officers located the car a short time later and with the help of a suburban jurisdiction arrested the suspect, a 23-year-old man, in the 4800 block of N. Mother Daniels Way following a short foot chase. 

The suspect had the victim’s cell phone on him and dropped his gun while running away from the officers.
