Argument leads to gunfire in Kenosha Friday night

KENOSHA, WI (CBS 58) -- A drunken argument between two men over a woman resulted in gunshots being fired in Kenosha last night.   Fortunately no one was injured.   

Around 11:15 PM Friday, the Kenosha Police were called to the area of 55th Street and 16th Avenue for a report of gunshots.   On scene officers spoke with a man who said he had been shot at, but after further investigation, they determined that the man they initially talked with was the shooter.     According to the Police, the suspect and a second man were in an argument over a woman when the suspect retrieved a gun and fired off five to six shots.   No one was struck by the gunfire.

Police were able to recover a firearm at the scene and took the suspect into custody.   He is expected to be charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, recklessly endangering safety and armed while intoxicated.
