Wisconsin Department of Agriculture MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Applications are now open for the 79th Alice in Dairyland position, a one-year, full-time role with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection.
DATCP said Friday, Jan. 2 that applications will be accepted through Jan. 30 for the statewide spokesperson position, which aims to promote Wisconsin agriculture.
Applicants must be Wisconsin residents, at least 21 years old, with an interest in agriculture, public speaking experience, plus at least three years of experience or training in communications, marketing, education or public relations.
The position begins July 6, 2026, with a $45,000 annual salary, benefits and travel requirements statewide.
Preliminary interviews are scheduled for Feb. 21, with finalist events planned for March and May.
