63-year-old Appleton man killed in Dodge County crash

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The driver killed was identified by the Dodge County Sheriff's Office Wednesday as Jeffrey Gundlach.

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A person is dead after a crash along Highway A at County Highway W in the town of Oak Grove.  

Police say deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12. 

An initial investigation shows that a Honda CR-V, driven by a 63-year-old man from Appleton, was going east on County Highway W and failed to stop at a stop sign. The Honda struck a Volvo semi hauling an empty milk trailer being driven by a 64-year-old man from Reedsville.

The driver of the Honda was ejected. Life-saving measures were attempted but he died at the scene. 

The semi driver was not injured. 

The crash is under investigation.
