Apple Holler welcomes their largest crop of peaches ever harvested

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- For all those peaches fans out there, here's some good news. Apple Holler has announced that their peach crop is "perfect for the 2018" season.

"The mild winter, along with a cool spring and tropical late spring and early summer weather of heat and rain have contributed to make the summer of 2018 a perfect peach growing season resulting in the largest crop of peaches that Apple Holler has ever harvested," owner Dave Flannery said.

Apple Holler orchards boast 14 varieties of peaches. Peach picking will start mid-July and continue into mid-August. For the exact peach picking dates, Apple Holler asks that you contact them.

In addition to pick-your-own peaches and apples, homemade apple-peach pies will also be available for purchase at the Apple Holler Country Store.
