Apartment Fire Relocates Residents

18 people are displaced after an early morning fire in West Allis Monday.

Firefighters were called to an apartment building on the corner of 88th and Lapham just before 7 this Monday morning.

One apartment has smoke damage and two others have water damage.

The fire was contained to one apartment on the 2nd floor.

Due to the water, all of the building’s electric power and gas has been shut off.  

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
