Another Mix Coming for Wednesday into Thursday

The pattern this week is rather active with another chance for a wintry mix Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  Temperatures on Wednesday will climb into the middle 30s during the afternoon.

Between 3 pm and 5 pm a mix of precipitation will move across southeastern Wisconsin.  Our northern counties will likely see snow out of this event; however, it gets tricky across the Milwaukee metro area.

A mix of rain, sleet, and snow will be possible during the evening.  Depending on the actual surface temperature, there could also be some light freezing rain that could create a thin layer of ice.  Travel Wednesday evening might be slow with possible slick spots.

The cold air blasts in for Thursday morning with another shot of snow across the entire area for the Thursday morning commute.  Overall snow accumulation looks minor with most areas picking up around an inch.  Some of our northern counties could see around 2 inches.
