Another Beautiful 4th of July!

The trend the last several years in southeastern Wisconsin has been a gorgeous Independence Day. This year will be no different. The rain will hold off and stay well to our west and southwest. Highs stay comfortable along with the humidity levels. Most daytime temps will top out in the mid and upper 70s.

Let’s talk some 4th of July stats! When was the last time Milwaukee had rain on the 4th? Seven years ago! It was only 0.02” in 2010 on the 4th! If you have lived in Milwaukee for at least five years, you will remember the heat wave of 2012. This holds the crown of the hottest day ever on July 4th with a high of 102. The low that morning was an astonishing 81 degrees, which by the way will be warmer than our high temperature today! The last four years have been incredibly comfy and dry.

There are some changes in the forecast by mid and end of the week. Watch for showers and storms, especially by Thursday. These storms could turn strong to severe. The Storm Prediction already has an enhanced risk of severe weather setup for Thurs

day.
