Annual neighborhood cleanup underway in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is encouraging kids to do some spring cleaning on their spring break.
Mayor Barrett kicked off the City’s annual Neighborhood Cleanup on Wednesday.
Every year after the snow melts, members of “Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful” clean up neighborhoods across the city.
The mayor told students keeping Milwaukee clean starts at home.
Keep Greater Milwaukee Beautiful will provide free cleaning supplies for groups that coordinate their own neighborhood cleanups.
