The start to May has been a little all over the place temperature-wise. The month started with a few cooler days then warmed up at the end of last week. This past Monday was a cool day with rain and 50s then yesterday saw highs return to the 60s. Overall the month is running just a scosh below average with nearly identical number of below and above average days.
Like most days so far in May, Wednesday will also feature a lake breeze. Since the lake breeze is light and out of the SE direction we will still warm with Milwaukee and lakeside communities reaching the low 70s. Inland areas have the better chance of seeing the middle 70s.
More 70s are expected for Friday with some still possible Saturday away from the lakefront. We will start to cool down in time for Mother's Day with highs in the low 60s Sunday.
