American Red Cross, community partners to open multi-agency resource center for residents of unsafe Waukesha condo

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The American Red Cross and community partners will open a multi-agency resource center for residents that are recovering from the sudden evacuation of an unsafe residential condo complex in Waukesha earlier this month.

Officials say that the multi-agency resource center will open on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 4-6:30 p.m., at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield.

The American Red Cross announced that approximately 12 local service and government agencies will be in attendance at the site Thursday to aid residents with ongoing needs and concerns stemming from this incident.

According to the announcement, the American Red Cross will also offer a meal, recovery plan resources and access to mental health/health services,
