(CBS 58) – The American Lung Association is releasing the results of its first ‘Road to Clean Air: Benefits of a Nationwide Transition to Electric Vehicles’ report.
It focuses on the health and climate change benefits of switching to electric cars, buses and trucks.
According to the report, a transition to zero-emissions vehicles by 2050 could save approximately 6,300 lives per year.
The National Vice President of Advocacy at the American Lung Association, Paul Billings, joined CBS 58 to talk further about the findings.
