MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A portion of the roof at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on the Summerfest grounds has been successfully raised.
According to Milwaukee World Festival, the roof was raised 26 feet. The change will expand stage production capabilities. The move marks phase one of the redevelopment of the amphitheater.
The first phase of the American Family Insurance Amphitheater construction is currently on schedule and will continue into June 2019, according to Milwaukee World Festival.
