American Family Field COVID-19 testing site to close Sept. 25

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett announced Tuesday, Sept. 14, the COVID-19 testing site at American Family Field will close next week. 

Barrett says the site will shut down to make room for the Milwaukee Brewers "highly anticipated" playoff run. 

"The Milwaukee Health Department is actively working to find a new COVID drive-thru testing site which will be announced soon,' Mayor Barrett said. 

The site will shut down Saturday, Sept. 25. 

Until then, COVID-19 testing is available Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
