American journalist abducted in Iraq grew up in Wisconsin
At nearly 70 years old Alverno College’s Music Therapy program is the oldest in Wisconsin and the third oldest in the country, but there is still room for growth.
This month, the school announced it would launch a Master in Music Therapy degree, the only offered in the state. The program has seen remarkable results with a clinic located on campus. Students, along with a licensed music therapist, regularly meet with clients and the results are extraordinary.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Amanda Porterfield shared the story of Violet Van-Deurzen, whose regular visits to the campus have been life-changing.
