Al's Run and Walk canceled for second year, new event slated for September 2025

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "Al's Run and Walk" has been canceled for the second straight year. 

But Children's Wisconsin says they're preparing an event for 2025. It may look a little different. 

After 45 years, the event took pause last year, since then, organizers have gone back to the drawing board to create something new. 

The exact details are not clear just, yet, but more information is expected to be released next spring. 

What we do know is the new event will take place Saturday, Sept. 13 of 2025.
