After race review, Country House declared winner of Kentucky Derby

It took a lengthy review, but Country House was ultimately declared the winner of the Kentucky Derby due to a disqualification that changed the initial results.

Maximum Security crossed the finish line first, but there was an objection about contact between Maximum Security and another horse.

Immediately after the race, Kentucky Derby officials reviewed the footage and agreed that Maximum Security interfered with War of Will. Maximum Security was disqualified and Country House, who finished second, was given the win.

Country House came in to the race with odds of 62-1, a major long shot compared to Maximum Security, the favorite, at 4-1 odds.
