MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We reached a milestone this morning. Had a -2 degree wind chill reading in Waukesha overnight. As far as I can tell, it's one of the first negative numbers we've seen this season. Also, on this date, the coldest December temperature ever recorded. -22 in 1884. Now. we're turning the corner. Look for highs to reach the mid-30s today, pretty much on the money for this time of the year. Actually, our 30s become 40s as soon as Wednesday. And then we keep the 40s around through the holiday weekend, including Christmas Day too. As far as rain chances, there's a slight risk Thursday, Friday, and Sunday with a better chance Christmas Eve and Christmas morning as well. Way too warm for snow. Normally it's at least a 40 percent chance. This year, next to nothing.
