Admirals to Host Free Open Skate on October 19
Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced that the team will host a free open skate at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Wednesday, October 19 at 6:00 PM.
This will be the first public event for the Admirals since the team and the Wisconsin Center District collaborated on over $6 million in renovations this summer in preparation for the team’s first season there since 1987.
In addition, the Admirals road game that night in Chicago against the Wolves will be shown on the UWMPA video board. There will be concession stands open for fans to purchase food and drinks. Plus, the newly renovated Arena Team Store will be open to get merchandise from the Admirals or any of the other building tenants.
Fans who are interested in taking a look at seat locations for season tickets can do so at the event as well and there will be Admirals ticket reps available to answer any questions.
The open house is free to the public, however, there is no skate rental available so fans will need to bring their own skates. Fans should enter the UWMPA through the main lobby off of Kilbourn Ave
The Admirals will commence the regular season with a pair of games in San Antonio on October 15 and 16. They will kick off the home portion of their schedule at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on Saturday, October 29 at 6:00 PM.
