Admirals to host annual charity game in support of Children's Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Admirals will host their annual charity game Friday night, Dec. 17 -- raising money for Children's Wisconsin. A portion of very ticket sale will be donated.
The Ads have raised more than $400,000 in the first 15 years of the charity game.
They hope to add more than $20,000 to the tally.
"It's a chance to give back to our community in a way we want to make sure is impactful," said Admirals President Jon Greenberg.
"We can take a step back and understand that we are very privileged. We have an opportunity to play a sport and make a living doing that. As always we want to give back and assist the community," said Admirals Head Coach Karl Taylor.
The Admirals have always been extremely involved with the community but during the pandemic they had to get creative. Whether it's raising money through games or playing Pictionary with patients over Zoom.
