ACX Cinemas at Bayshore to host sensory friendly screening of Paw Patrol movie

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- ACX Cinemas is hosting a sensory friendly showing of "Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie" at its Bayshore location in Glendale. This special screening aims to provide a more inclusive environment for families with children who have diverse abilities.

The venue has modified traditional theater settings with brighter lights and quieter sound for the comfort of attendees.

"Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie" will be shown on Saturday, Sept. 30 at 1:30 p.m. as the first in a series of sensory friendly movie showings.

Sensory friendly screenings are designed to accommodate children with conditions such as autism and epilepsy, allowing families greater freedom to move and express themselves during the film. According to the theater, the initiative is part of ACX Cinemas' ongoing effort to make moviegoing accessible to everyone in the community.

Future sensory friendly showings are planned throughout the year at participating locations.
