An accident involving two cars and a semi truck on westbound I-94 at 116th St. caused major traffic jams Friday afternoon.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation shut down I-94 West after a light pole was struck and started leaning.
No injuries have been reported in this incident, but the accident affected travel for miles.
Eastbound traffic on I-94 was diverted at Moorland Rd., and westbound traffic was being diverted north at the Zoo Interchange for awhile.
As of 3:30 p.m., everything was back open.
