3rd Street Market Hall tightens rules after teen takeover concerns
MILWAUKEE COUNTY (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County is working to make sure everyone can enjoy a day off at the beach.
The County unveiled plans on Monday to make Bradford Beach more accessible for those with disabilities.
The plan calls for permanent ramps as well as modern equipment like beach wheelchairs.
County Executive Chris Abele says it'll show Milwaukee's commitment to equal opportunity.
"For a lot of people they might think this doesn't make a difference, for some people it makes a world of difference, and for all of us this makes us a better county by prioritizing it," said Chris Abele, Milwaukee County Executive.
A Mobi-Mat path will be installed this summer and the beach wheelchairs will be provided free of charge.
