Abele outlines 2016 spending plan for Milwaukee County

Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele briefly outlined his 2016 budget Wednesday.  Abele referenced how the county has improved services in the behavioral health division, transit, among other areas.  He also said his economic development team is working on multiple projects that are creating jobs in the county.

"Today Milwaukee county values our partnerships with the private sector and will continue to seek every opportunity to grow our economy in every part of the county," Abele said in front of county workers and supporters at the Pritzlaff Building in downtown Milwaukee.  "From the Park East, to the Couture, the County Grounds in Wauwatosa to projects all over the county, Milwaukee county is having a direct impact on economic development."

Abele presents the budget to the Milwaukee County Board Thursday.
