MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department reports that they successfully rescued a 20-year-old abduction victim following a high-speed pursuit of a stolen gold Ford Fusion.

The chase, involving two male suspects, one 19-year-old and a 23-year-old, lasted for around 11 minutes from the area near 24th and Galena before ending near 8th and Cherry.

Authorities say they stopped the vehicle late Friday, March 7, around 9 p.m., and they took both suspects into custody.

A firearm was also reportedly recovered during the operation.

Charges against the suspect are currently under review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
