It was a breezy and chilly start to the day! Some isolated inland spots fell into the single-digits for feels-like temperatures. Check it out:
The good news is this should be the coldest part of the extended forecast over the next ten days. Notice the next 12 hours features cold wind chills that hold fairly steady, even as temps drop. That's because breezy west winds ease tonight. That will allow the extra chill factor to fade away. But today we also reached another chilly milestone. Milwaukee's average low temperature has now dropped below the freezing mark. A place it will stay for some time. Have a look: The good news is that a south wind will bring us a warmer afternoon tomorrow with highs near fifty degrees. The caveat is that once again, the wind will be fairly strong sustained from 12-25mph with higher gusts. At least the milder air looks to stick around for the rest of the week.As we head into the weekend a weather maker rolls through providing the chance for rain both weekend days. Once that passes we will cool slightly, but just temporarily. Our ten day forecast now takes us through Thanksgiving and the Black Friday holiday's.
At this point it's looking to be a mild day to enjoy your turkey with sun a slight chance for showers for Friday shoppers.I'm meteorologist Rebecca Schuld
