MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We didn't get a white Christmas but could get a bit of wintry mix Thursday into Friday with a broad area of low pressure. SInce temperatures are so mild (and the ground temperatures too), don't expect much in the way of accumulations. Perhaps an inch or so, especially away from the lakeside areas. Most of it will stay on grassy surfaces.

Speaking of temperatures, highs the next few days will be in the 40s and then the 30s to start the new year on Monday. But these readings are still above the average for this time of the year.
