UPDATE: CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Jen's Sweet Treats confirms that $9,764 was raised for the family of fallen Officer Michael Michalski.
------
CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58)-- As the community comes together to remember fallen Milwaukee police officer Michael Michalski, a local bakery is paying tribute to him and his family.
The hope is for a continual crowd at Jen’s Sweet Treats in Cudahy on Wednesday. It's right across the street from Dretzka’s Department Store on Packard Avenue. 100 percent of all proceeds will go toward the family of fallen Milwaukee Police Officer Michael Michalski. Owner Jen Clark has been here for more than a day baking and preparing. We’re talking more than a thousand cupcakes and hundreds of muffins. And she’s not done yet. Doors will remain open until 6:00 Wednesday evening. Patrons can also fill a donation jar at the bakery.
