BROWN DEER, Wis. (CBS 58) --The scavenger hunt, which started on Tuesday, May 14, continued Friday for a small medallion in Brown Deer--a chance to win some big cash but also get out and unite community members.

“I’ve been here about four times, a total of maybe five, six hours,” said Paul Foti, a Milwaukee local.

From near and far, parents, grandparents and kids were seen at Village Park Friday looking for a heart-shaped medallion that's about 3-inches in diameter.

“We came on Tuesday, and we’ve been here today, and still haven’t found it,” said Brown Deer local Natalie Wentz.

She told CBS 58 News she brought her husband and daughter to the park--like hundreds of others who have also been looking for the hidden treasure for about two weeks now.

"We homeschool, so we have a lot of time to just check things out and make it into a science project, I guess,” added Wentz.

Foti also said he's been running around hoping to find it.

"I checked out a park just south of 51st and Bradley Road--nothing there, and then pinpointed, it’s mainly in this area," he said, pointing at Village Park. "The last clues have been by the pond, by the schoolhouse today.”

The winner will receive $1,500 and a free meal for four at Cafe Corazón.

On Friday, a fourth clue was given out to the public:

The kids in Brown Deer appear to be smart.
I heard their strong test scores set them apart.
It all started with the Little White School House,
And now have events in the Novak Family Field House.
Each day I look at where it all began,
The Village’s history here – I am a fan.
Yet you need to walk away from this historic landmark.
As I’m about 300 feet away from it in the park.

Clues are being posted every Tuesday and Friday until the medallion is found.

“We homeschool, so we have a lot of time to just check things out and make it into a science project, I guess,” added Wentz.

Whether it’s for the money, to get some fresh air, or to make it a family affair, until a winner is announced, the search will continue.

“I’ll wait until Tuesday for the next clue, and if they still haven’t found it, I’m going to come back out again on Tuesday,” said Foti

The Brown Deer Community Foundation and Café Corazon will also host a photo opportunity and ceremony to recognize the winner.
